Built in 1461, the Grand Bazaar is one of the oldest and largest covered bazaars in the world. It is known for over 4,400 shops and 61 streets. Jewelry, carpets, leather goods, spices and handicrafts can be found. The nearby Spice Bazaar is perfect for spices and Turkish delight. Both bazaars are within walking distance.
