The esteemed event of the food and nutrition industry, "7th International Food, Nutritional Components, Ingredients and Technologies Exhibition: Food & Nutritional Ingredients 2027", is preparing to welcome industry professionals at the Istanbul Expo Center on 2027.
This prestigious organization serves as a crucial meeting point for both domestic and international industry professionals. The exhibition hosts the display of the sector's latest products and technologies, bringing together all stakeholders of the food and nutrition industry under one roof.
Turkey's strategic position and robust food sector enhance the significance of such international organizations. The exhibition provides participants with opportunities to establish new business connections, strengthen existing relationships, and closely follow the latest innovations in the sector. Additionally, it illuminates the future of the industry through the showcase of technological developments and innovative products in the food and nutrition field.
Turkey's food raw materials and ingredients exports demonstrated significant growth from 2019 to 2023. The sector's exports, which were approximately 17.7 billion dollars in 2019, continued to grow even during the pandemic period, reaching 22.6 billion dollars in 2021 and 25.3 billion dollars in 2022. Basic food raw materials such as cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and spices played a major role in this increase. The Middle East, Africa, and European Union countries emerged as the primary export markets.
In the 2022-2023 period, despite the global food crisis and supply chain issues, Turkey strengthened its strategic position in this field. The increase observed in processed food raw materials and additives exports indicated that the sector was shifting towards value-added products. Export volumes and unit prices increased in processed food raw materials such as flour, pasta, vegetable oils, and confectionery products.
The Food & Nutritional Ingredients Exhibition continues to develop in parallel with this rapid growth of the sector, hosting an increasing number of participants each year and continuing to reinforce the role of food products and nutritional ingredients sectors both in Turkey and globally.
Food & Nutritional Ingredients Exhibition in 2025 hosted 306 direct exhibitors, including 208 international exhibitors, along with represented companies, and welcomed a total of 6,078 visitors, 803 of whom were international.
Within the Conference Program, industry professionals conducted 18 commercial and scientific presentations and 1 panel program throughout the 3-day event.
